Stewart Lines, Championship Manager said: “The whole team have worked incredibly hard to devise a calendar that is in the best interests all the teams and drivers for 2017, and we are extremely proud of it.”
We asked Maximum Motorsport how their team is preparing for the VW Racing Cup. “We’ve been running an extensive winter testing program over the off season,” we were told by a Maximum Motorsport spokesperson. They continued, “The team have been travelling across the UK to the tracks that we will be competing at this coming season, making sure we have the cars set up to each event, and also giving our drivers the opportunity to progress their abilities to gain that tenth over their competitors.”

Tom Witts, Vice champion from 2016, has signed again for Maximum Motorsport which will see him attempting to go one better this year, competing the full season in the Green Maximum Motorsport Scirocco. Kenan Dole is back with Team Hard Racing and will be pushing for more podiums, a strong rookie season saw Dole spraying champagne early on in his 2016 campaign, we’re certain 2017 will be no different.”
