New Audi A4 Revealed

New Audi A4 Revealed
Posted in Audi On By David Moffatt

Ahead of its formal world debut at the Frankfurt motor show this Autumn, details and pictures of the new Audi A4 saloon Avant have been revealed. Although it's not drastically different than its predecessor, the new A4 is longer, wider, and every body panel is new. Aerodynamics have been the focus of this facelift, a flat undertray and new sculpting at the back make it the most dynamic of its rivals. Bigger doesn't always mean heavier, it's 120kg lighter than the current A4 thanks to a combination of hot-formed high-strength steel and aluminium. [gallery type="slideshow" link="file" ids="889,886,887,885,888,890"] The biggest change can be found inside thanks to the 12in LCD digital screen found in the latest Audi TT. It's entirely configurable, letting the sat-nav take over the entire screen or conventional dials, with many grades in between. Bootspace in the new Audi A4 Avant has also increased to 505 litres (seats up) or 1510 litres (seats down). Electric boot and load cover come as standard. The bigger load capacity beats the C-class and 3-series Touring, useful for those with a family. [embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkLPjRKHOeA[/embed]
