Update: We now have two additional teaser images for the Audi Q5. The original post is below.
Audi's media team are having fun on the run up to Paris Motor Show as the carmaker seems to have plenty to shout about in the coming days. We already know that the Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster will be on the show floor, but a lot of us have been waiting for the rumours of a refreshed Audi Q5 to feel more solid. Well, the wait is over. Audi have started teasing the new Q5 through a very short teaser video and a single image that shows a rear light of the new design.
We've also been gifted with a teaser video that shows off the technology of the car, but with very little glimpses of the vehicle itself. Could this mean that the Q5 will be Audi's big announcement at Paris Motor Show?
The Q5 is expected to be based on similar engines and technology as the A4, so expect a front-wheel-drive 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and four-wheel-drive 2.0 litre engine. Both should come with manual and S-tronic transmissions.
The only other information we have so far is that the Q5 will have a focus on Apple and Android connectivity, as we're shown in Audi's quick tease for users of the phone brands.
The new Q5 should reach showrooms by the end of the year, and we'll have prices as soon as they're available.
