Mercedes have revealed official photographs of the second-generation C-Class Coupe, which will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September and arriving in the UK towards the end of 2015.The Coupe is the latest version of the new C-Class Saloon, sharing the same front-end, while at the rear you could easily mistake it for the latest S-Class Coupe. According to Mercedes the new C-Class Coupe is 95mm longer and 40mm wider, resulting in more space inside for the passengers and a bit of extra presence on the road.
The C-Class Coupe will come with the choice of two four-cylinder petrol engines, a 1.6-litre and a 2.0-litre. Also available from the start will be a 2.1 litre four-cylinder diesel engine.
Mercedes-Benz can also fit the Coupe with an option Distronic Plus System which enables the car to autonomously steer to remain in its lane at speeds between 0 and 124mph. This new system linked with Mercedes' Collision Prevention Assist pushes the Coupe close to being a semi-autonomous car.
