With electric cars seemingly set to become a bigger part of our motoring future manufacturers are working hard to produce an electric car that.....well - doesn't feel like an electric car. Although still some way off, the new Volkswagen e-Golf has made strides in doing this - take a look at some of the key points as outlined by Volkswagen:
Top Speed 87mph
0-62 MPH in 10.4 seconds
Range of 118 miles
Can be charged to 80% in just 35 minutes
Can be charged with a standard household three-pin plug socket
Standard specification includes satellite navigation
Optional function to control many of the cars controls via a smartphone
