Seat Ateca X-Perience Concept
Seat's Design Director said, ‘We’ve chosen olive green matt, a natural colour that’s a little camouflaged, underlined with orange tones in the details that give it a more technical look.’The colour of the car, olive matt green, is almost military (Seat call it a "technical" colour, but still describe it as "a little camouflaged") with a touch of bright orange on the features, most notably being the orange brake pads and a flourish of orange on wheels. The colour scheme continues inside with brown/green seats with orange stitching. Seat have said this concept is aimed at the adventurer in us, for people who want to take the car for weekend adventures and off-road. The exterior styling of the car certainly agrees with this, and in the concept images we can see a significant height increase for greater road clearance. They have also promised that the paint would be scratch-proof - a bold claim for any car, let alone an off-roader. Another reason to hope for this concept to make it to production is that the concept is based on an already existing top-spec Ateca, so the carmaker wouldn't have to make many changes in order to bring these to market. We'll know more at Paris Motor Show 2016, but we hope to see this car on sale in 2017.
