The first thing you’ll notice about the 2017 Seat Leon is that it looks very similar to the previous model. Although the changes are slight, this is a much-welcomed refresh to the car with sharper, more aggressive lines in the design.
Along with the facelift, the Seat Leon will also be getting big changes in the technology of the car. The first is a wireless charging point for phones compatible with the feature. The car will also come with a digital dashboard – this is similar to Audi’s Virtual Cockpit, with all the dials being replaced with digital versions in a slick user-friendly interface. The new car will also get Traffic Jam Assist, Pedestrian Protection System, park assist and more.
Engines options will now include a 1.0 115PS and a 1.6 TDI 115PS, these are both new to the car, as is a new luxury XCELLENCE trim level.
Seat have also teased their anticipated Leon Cupra range “with its own surprises” to debut in early 2017.
The new Seat Leon 2017 should be available in February, with prices available closer to the launch date.
