What have we got on our Weekend Schedule this week? We’ll be listening to our Drive Home Playlist, catching up on some TV shows that have been talked about in the office, and we’ll be nipping to the cinema for the latest and greatest films!
Ignore, for a second, that this show is set in the solar system and has strong sci-fi influences. This show doesn’t focus on the glamorous side of the usual space-faring TV shows, instead choosing to focus on darker, political aspects of humanity’s future. Humans have colonised the solar system and Mars has become an independent military power. Rising tensions between Earth and Mars have put them on the brink of war. Against this backdrop, a hardened detective and a rogue ship’s captain come together to investigate the case of a missing young woman. The investigation leads them on a race across the solar system that could expose the greatest conspiracy in human history.
If you need any other reason to watch this show, it’s that it’s basically Game of Thrones in space. One of the authors of the books that this show is based on is even George R R Martin’s assistant.

Weekend Playlist - 11 November
Another playlist for you to listen to over the weekend. We’ve picked some great tracks from the past and mixed them up with chart-toppers of today. Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Avicii and more! There’s something for everyone.
Okay, we’ll admit that this sounds like Marvel’s weirdest movie to date, but Benedict Cumberbatch plays a former neurosurgeon who embarks on a journey of healing only to be drawn into the world of the mystic arts.
Someone described it as Inception in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Colour us intrigued.
Where to watch: Local Cinema
Our heads are still spinning from the last episode we watched, but we’ll be catching up on Westworld over the weekend. What is going on!?
