Top Gear will return to your TV on 5 March minus Chris Evans. This big change comes as a relief for fans who didn't feel that he was a good host for the show.

Top Gear Season 24 is almost upon us with only a few weeks to go before we have another hot car TV series. With the success of The Grand Tour looming over them, this season could be make or break for the BBC.

“Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid return to your screens next month. Yes, we can officially confirm that the new series of Top Gear launches on Sunday 5 March.”

“What can you expect from the new series? Drifting a 1,036bhp Ferrari FXX K, a race across the Kazakhstan wilderness, and of course, the new, twin-turbo V12-engined Aston Martin DB11.

“There’s plenty more, and we’ll have further details for you in due course. For now, people of the UK, ready your big red marker pen and note it down: Sunday 5 March, 8pm on BBC Two and BBC Two HD.”

We'll have to wait and see what Top Gear is like without Chris Evans. We're hoping that the show is successful, but fans are sceptical that the show will ever do well without the "lads".
