Volkswagen Passat GT Incoming
Volkswagen are about to unveil a new sporty concept car; the Volkswagen Passat GT. Borrowing styling from the popular Golf GTI, this car is intriguing!Volkswagen is expected to reveal a Volkswagen Passat GT concept at LA Motor Show this week, adding a sporty edge to the car. Borrowing design styling from the already popular Golf GTI, the Volkswagen Passat GT will have a red accent above the fierce-looking honeycomb grille. All-new bumpers give the car a fresher feel, and the car has red brake callipers that are bound to be sought after. LED headlights, a sports muffler and 19-inch Tornado alloys should also make this car appear more powerful before you even sit in it. To top off the exterior, the Passat GT will also ride on a 0.6-inch lowered suspension. Moving inside, the car will have carbon fibre patterned trim around the cabin, giving it a luxurious feel. Familiar sports seats look great in the wide-body Passat, shown in black and grey with contrasting stitching. Under the hood, this car will have a 280bhp 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine showing that the design isn't everything in this GT concept. This is only a concept car at the moment, but it would be a welcome addition to the Passat range. The added power from the engine, and the mean-looking GT styling looks great on this car. Now we just have to wait and see if VW will put it in to production. The car does look production-ready already though, so perhaps Volkswagen are waiting to gauge the reaction to the car at LA Motor Show before announcing its availability.
