Car Insurance, Do We Include It?
A frequently asked question when customers enquire is if we offer a car insurance package with our leasing offers.
The simple answer to this is an unfortunate no. We don't offer any form of car or van insurance. We can inform you of the insurance group that the car you're interested in falls under, as this will give you enough information to give you an idea of prices. It is up to yourself to find out the best prices for your car insurance.
There are numerous price comparison websites you can use to find the best insurance deals. Please see below for a few:
Why can't insurers find my car even though I know the registration number?
Occasionally our customers will ring to explain they can't find their car on insurance comparison websites when they type their registration number in. Or that they've tried to purchase insurance and the insurer simply can't find the car with the registration number. This is because although you've been given your registration number, your car may have been fully registered on the day of delivery and not be updated in the national database yet.
If you're wanting to find out insurance quotes of a car that isn't registered yet you will simply need:
- The vehicle brand
- The vehicle model
- The vehicle year
If you're wanting to purchase insurance for your car you simply need to let the company know the above information, as well as the registration number that you have been given. If you're still having trouble with this please give us a call on 0151 728 4711 and we'll be happy to help.
Who is the registered keeper and owner of my leased car?
The finance company are the registered keepers and owners. This is why you don't receive a V5C logbook, as the finance company retain it.
