Photos from Germany show that a long wheel base Volkswagen Tiguan should be available soon. Although nothing official has been confirmed by VW, as of yet, the car looks complete in the photos, so we may be looking at an early 2017 release for the longer model.
The LWB model seems to be an exact copy of the current Tiguan, except for the added length. Volkswagen might quietly announce this over the next week, on the run up to Paris Motor Show, especially since they will have other announcements to be talking about.
The added length makes room for two extra seats making the Tiguan LWB an excellent choice for large families, or if you folded the seats down, extra room for Fido.
There's no word on pricing, or when this car will be available, but if Volkswagen do announce it in Paris this week we'll bring you all the information.
We'll be in Paris bringing you all the latest announcements from Paris Motor Show 2016, so we hope to have all the details for this car, and much more.
