Volkswagen have given us glimpses of the electric vehicle they will be announcing at Paris Motor Show 2016. If the cropped images are anything to go by, this will be a hatchback with similar design attributes to BMW’s i3. We’re shown the front of the car, with ultra-stylistic headlights in one image, and the rear of the car in another.
VW has already put the car under drapes in a line-up with the original Beetle and the original Golf, and we’re definitely intrigued with what the car maker will show us in Paris at the end of the month. Could their big strategy to wow future customers be a more affordable EV, or higher range than its competitors? We’ll find out soon.
After seeing these images, we can’t help but feel like 2019 – the expected year of production for this car – is too far away.
